Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJULIANNA KOVACS It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Julianna Kovacs on February 18, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital. Julianna was predeceased by her husband Jozsef. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Maria (Derris) Thibodeau; stepson, Jozsef; sister, Maria of Hungary and many nieces and nephews. Julianna was born on June 12, 1922 in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 and had many jobs, including Toronto Quilt and Lining and Moore Quilt and Lining. She retired in 1980. After a brief illness, she moved to the River East Personal Care Home. Special thanks to Dr. Samini and Patti of the Concordia Hospital, and to the staff at River East Personal Care Home. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Temple (Buntain Chapel), 400 Hargrave St. on Thursday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bruce Logan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
